Demonstration Plant for Industrial-Scale Green Hydrogen
In Augsburg, Quest One and Everllence (formerly MAN Energy Solutions) are building a demonstration plant for the Modular Hydrogen Platform. The site makes large-scale PEM electrolysis tangible and creates real operating data to further optimize performance, installation, and service.

How the Augsburg Demonstration Plant Advances Large-Scale Electrolysis
With the demonstration plant in Augsburg, Quest One is turning its Modular Hydrogen Platform into a real industrial showcase. Built at the Everllence site inside the Turbocharger Performance Center, the project makes large-scale PEM electrolysis visible, tangible, and ready for the next stage of market growth.
The plant is more than a showcase. It gives customers and partners direct insight into the technology while providing real operating data to further improve performance, installation, and service. That makes Augsburg an important step in moving large-scale green H₂ production from promise to practice.
As Quest One’s largest PEM electrolyzer platform, the MHP is built for industrial hydrogen production at scale. The demonstration plant shows how modular PEM technology can help accelerate decarbonization with reliable and efficient green H₂ production.
